After a faulty 12v transformer which blew a capacitor, it’s down to wiring . I tested the pump, heat and buzzer switching which work fine. The one temperature probe is showing good temperature. Now to order some zip ties to tidy the wiring.

Temperature probe hooked up with breadboard, reading a little high but responding to temperature rise. Top shows under cover components ready for false bottom drilling. (next weeks job). LCD looking good too.
Rewiring the buffalo
Rewired the buffalo to remove thermostat. This was causing the boil to stall in cycle, 5mins on 5mins off. I’ve reinstated the temp cutout.It’s rated at 120 degs which should protect it if its switched on accidentally but not too sensitive from slight build ups during the boil.
